Obedience

Obedience to the Holy Spirit is one of the most important things. We don't know what He will do when we allow Him to lead. That means in all circumstances, even when it doesn't feel comfortable, we need to be fully aware of what He is asking us to do, and do it! I've been walking with Him now for 6 years. I didn't always know what it felt like to be doing or saying something that He didn't want me to do, but I sure do now! It feels like something is off-balance. It feels like warfare.... One of the main things that I have learned is not to let anyone tell you that you need to go one way, when the Lord is clearly saying "don't do that!" When something doesn't sit well in our spirit, there's a reason for it... because it's not His will or plan that you get involved in that thing or situation. Waiting On God

Isaiah 40:31 says 'they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary. They shall walk, and not faint.' This promise of God in our Holy Bible holds so much in the way of hope. It reveals God's character, His power to help us through those times when waiting can be really difficult. It is hard to wait and trust, but it is so necessary that we rely on His promises in order to see His plan for our lives come to pass. We know in our spirit how it feels to be doing things that are not pleasing to Him. Faith is what pleases Him. The word says that 'obedience is better than sacrifice' and we know that waiting obediently for a specific promise to come to pass is what He requires. It is the highest form of faith, and although patience is not easy in the waiting process, it is a necessity. I always seem to notice how He speaks, whether it be me hearing from Him, or Him speaking through something...

A dream...

I woke up laughing! The Lord was telling me in a dream some things about LOV3RZ ( lov3rzcommunity.blogspot.com ) and He said there will be a new blog called FROG (LOV3RZ.) I was like "whattttt?" LOL! So I was telling a friend of mine about the dream. We laughed and sent each other pics of Kermit etc, and then I came onto blogspot and was like "why not just reserve the name?" I told my friend that I did so... and the next thing I know, the Lord says "now look up the acronym F.R.O.G!" I was like ok what could it possibly mean, and what does it have to do with me?"
